For those who still think that Hanukkah is the Jewish Christmas, it's only fair to point out that the story of Hanukkah preceded the birth of Jesus by 164 years. More significantly, the Jews at that time were the only monotheists in the world. If Judaism had been destroyed, Christianity and Islam probably would never have come into being.
